About the Webbie
Q. Where / When did PixiMyst begin?
A. PixiMyst was founded in February of 2004, originally created as a win-a-site from Cheetah Kennelz. I won it using a dinky little story I wrote back then involving a group of wolves living in “Nature Valley.” You can learn more in the “Past Layouts” section of my Scrapbook by clicking here.

Q. How is the name of this site written - PixiMyst or Pixi Myst?
A. Technically, both of the spellings are correct and can be used almost interchangeably. But, if ever there WERE a set rule for them, it would be this:
-- PixiMyst (with no spaces) is the far more commonly used variation -- formal or not. In more modern times, I've noticed that people have a tendency to misspell it punctuation-wise. Please make note that the 'M' in 'Myst' is captialized!
-- Pixi Myst (with a space) is hardly seen anymore, and rarely used by anyone except for the few die-hards out there that remember the early days of the site ;)
In any case, don't too caught up in it. After all, I really don't mind which spelling you use.

Q. Who is “Wuvy” and why is she so important?
A. As I told you earlier, PixiMyst was originally a win-a-site. In addition to getting the webbie, the winner also received a custom petz hexed by Cheetah, herself. In my case, Wuvy (a white traditional CKBC with yellow eyes and a tan patch on her flank resembling a heart-shape) was my prize – and she has showed it very distinctly ever since. So far, she has become almost like a symbol for PixiMyst as a whole, and has been present in every layout… ever. Of course, she hasn’t always been in the foreground – mind you. Over the years I’ve made it harder and harder to pick her out (i.e. – Layout XII: she was in the background below the iframe, but for Layout XIII she was a faded figure hiding in the evergreen pines as well as on the download page – where she made a solo appearance… I didn’t have downloads then). The question now becomes: Can you find her?

Q. How active are you in the petz community? Do you keep to an updating schedule?
A. It varies, depending on personal factors, seasonal patterns (if you could call it that), and how my guests interact with the site. There are times (especially in the beginning of the year, I've come to notice) where I update almost every day. But, as we all have experienced before, life usually tends to strech beyond a computer screen -- and I will go several days without updating. Also, I happen to travel quite a bit; and that takes away from any spare time I may have for website maintenance [keep in mind that PixiMyst isn't the only site I own / co-own].
As for a "schedule," I would laugh if I tried to make one. I update when I can, with the material that I have ready. Believe me, behind the scenes stuff gets... interesting )_). As a result, my activity in the petz community, itself, is often somewhat restricted by time. Ah well, I get around. ;)

Q. What is the SSRB?
A. It stands for the “Show Site Reference Book.” You can find out more about it by clicking here.

Q. Are you EVER going to update the “coming soon” pages?
A. Yes, eventually.

About the Lady Behind the Madness
Q. Is it true that the owner of Lechuga is related to you?
A. Why yes, yes she is!
In fact, Bunny happens to be my lil’ sister… literally! Go pay her a visit – she loves the attention! (But then again, doesn’t every younger sibling crave the spotlight?)

Q. Are you looking for any new sister sites?
A. Sometimes I am, other times… not so much. Feel free to ask me, though. Most of the time, I’ll say yes. >^^<

Q. Where do you display your sister sites? I don’t see anything on the front page…
A. Nope – I’m afraid you won’t find anything about them there. I do things a little differently than most petz sites. Check the “Personal Quilts” page from the Scrapbook.

Q. Will you make me a custom layout?
A. As much as I would like to, I must decline. I have too many projects in and outside of the Internet to be adding any extra ones ;P

Q. I have a web page and… it has ads up to my eyeballs! Will you be my hostess? *grumbles at ads*
A. Well… not right now. Why? Because I’m evil like that >:)
Actually, I did offer this service a while back, but closed it for personal reasons.
