Well, I have a nice surprise for y'all!
It's sort of a contest, sort of not... Ladies and gentlemen, today I introduce a funny li'l accident which I like to call: Trinkets >^o^<
Here's the story: I was working on today's update for you... just some very general stuff, nothing terribly special, unless you consider new quilt squares/racks & a few quotes... erm... special >^^;< At any rate, I know that I had also been promising to release my trinket page soon. Not to mention, of course, all the other works in progress around the site ("Shepard's Journal" anyone?). That's when it hit me ---
How about asking my guests what they want to see next, but in a fun sort of way? Combine that with the trinkets, and WaLa! Voting ~ PixiMyst style!

-- Well, after a terribly long delay, I've started once again to empty my review basket! Quite a number of you have been waiting ages for me to finish, and for that I apologize. There's good news so far though: I've finished Miss Rylee's review (which is up for a read for those who are interested), so things should be moving a tidge quicker now >^^;<
-- Also, all show stats are all up to date :)
-- And a brand new submitted litter is up for grabs, thanks to love2read97!
-- From the Trading Post, both Tella & CornDoll were adopted
-- The win-a-site contest received a most lovely entry today, which means I only need one more entry until I can judge! So, who will be the lucky winner of Backwood (Petz)? Ah, we'll have to see, eh? Then it'll be re-vamping time... but more about that later >^p^<

-- Well, I know I'm a tidge late on both occasions, but I would like to wish a happy Independence / National Day to all of my American & Canadian visitors! To celebrate, I've made a gift for whomever cares for one >^^;<
-- And speaking of gifts, I've given my gifts/awards scrapbook page a bit of a face-lift, seeing as it was a 'lil out of date <3
-- I also received a lovely story entry for the win-a-site contest, which I will be re-vamping as soon as Backwood has been awarded. To help things speed up a bit, I've decided to lower the entrant number to 5 instead of 10. So please, do go and enter! >^D^<
-- On a separate note entirely, PixiMyst got reviewed! (Scrapbook)
-- Oh! And I forgot to mention it last time, but I've replaced my old "Vote for Me" button with a more current version featuring Shepard =D

¡Sorpresa! Notice anything... different? >^p^<
Well, fortunately for everyone, getting this new layout all up and running has been just about the only thing I've been working on for the past few days; unfortunately for everyone, getting this new layout up has been the only thing I've been working on for the past few days ~ *Winks*
*Chuckles* What I mean to say is this: With the exception of a few small things, I don't really have a lot to update with right now. >^^;< But not to worry -- there will be more to see very soon!
In the mean time, though, there are a couple of new pages that I've added with the remodel. Of course, right now they are all more like preview pages than actual functioning pages for the time being... but hey, everyone likes a preview, right? >^o^<

*Blushes* Well, I must be honest with you -- there is a whole lot more going on BEHIND the scenes right now, and I'm really not quite sure how much I want to spill quite yet... >^^;<

-- And speaking of sigtags, a few more designs & a new collection have been added to the selection of available choices! May I introduce a few Flutterby Kisses?
-- The Customization Dictionary is also *partially* up now, as well. So, if you are thinking of applying for a trade, take a peek there for some ideas.

The Trading Post is growing, slowly but surely >^^<
~ For today, one new sigtag was added to the "Pixel Ribbon Collection" (seen above), with PLENTY more behind the scenes! Look for more sigtags coming soon.
~ And speaking of behind-the-scenes-at-the-Trading-Post (Oi, that is a mouthful XD), the Customization Dictionary is on its way. I may have a section or two of it up by the next update -- though I will make no promises ;)
As for regularly scheduled maintenance:
-- The show raster is all up to date. Who knows, based by how full they all are right now, I may just be able to judge all the shows in one sweep... *Ushers for just a few more entries* >^^;<
-- And of course, I couldn't resist adding a quote or two in the Scrapbook =P

~ Well, it has been a while, but I've finally decided to move it to its own lil' subdomain. Of course, that means I'll need to go around and re-link the navigational menus all around PixiMyst, but until then, I've put up a nice lil' graphic that will direct you to:

Good news everyone! >^^;<
~ I think it is safe to say that we have come towards the end of the previews. Not updating PixiMyst on a regular basis is driving me somewhat batty >^^;< So yes, a real update is looming close in the wings...
~ Until that time, however, there IS this week's preview. If you've been keeping track of them, you would just KNOW they have to do with pixel art. This isn't completely far away from that. It's hinting at a lil' something that may show up in a few weeks or so, something I figure might be a fun lil' thing to try out. *cough*Butmoreaboutthatlater*cough*
~ And although it isn't overly "new," the show raster has been updated since May 10th ;)

~ Well sort of >^^;< This time the preview is for something that I have planned to show up A LOT sooner than the pixi-pups. Is it a tutorial? Is it a downloadable wallpaper? Eh, who knows ~ I'll let y'all find out soon enough :)

-- I'm working on some rather large projects for PixiMyst, namely the Trading Post; but also for Carnival & Shepard's Journal. To give myself a lil' buffer time, as it were, I'm updating with some sneak previews and then I'll get back into the swing of things after that (hopefully).
-- I'm also a smidge behind answering my emails. Please know that if you've sent any show entries or Trading Post applications, I've recieved them. Don't worry, I'm getting around to it all >^^;<

~ Okeey-dokey, I know everyone has been a lil' curious as to what I've been up to lately.
Short answer: Quite a lot of things, actually :)
Long Answer: Art, art, art. Does that sum it all up?
*Chuckles* Yes, I didn't quite think so! But here's what I'll do. I'm working on a rather sizable project in preparation for Shepard's Journal, as well as a new graphic maker for Carnival, and (of course) getting one of the art-y like sections up at the Trading Post. In the background, I also have regular PixiMyst maintenance to do. If you're still waiting for a letter from me, don't worry -- I'm getting there >^^;<
In the mean time, I do have a series of previews for y'all. I think I owe as much =P

~ Surprise! I'm back, too, after that brief hiatus!

-- Anywho, the PixiMyst Trading Post got a bit of a makeover, not to mention a little expansion... or at least, a sneak preview of an expansion -- not ALL the pages are up yet.
The long and short of it is this: I'm starting to open up art trades again. I've been putting it off for a while, but I'm planning to set it up so that I can move trades through faster ;)
-- Along with that, I've got a handsome handful of pups yet to post up online.
So look for those in a few days!
