...And, in case you missed it, a long-overdue explanation!
Yes, I think it's important to tell y'all what's been going on, especially with the serious lack of updates that's been happening... I mean, let's face it-- there was a grand total of maybe *two* updates in February alone. Not cool, I know. >^^;<
I suppose the shortest explanation I can give is that my studies at University have been keeping me on my toes (going into medicine does that ;)
But, there are a lot of layers that happen to sit on top of that sole explanation. After all, one has got to make a living somehow! So a lot of my uncommissioned (non-profit) projects have been put on the back burner. That includes things like PixiMyst & Willowbark, Trades, Carnival, Shepard's Journal, among other endeavors outside the PC in leiu of both digital & non-digital commissions, projects, & creations (yay for my ability to web design... and draw!... and crochet!!). I would hate, my darlings, to bore you with much more detail than that; and with any luck, by my next layout change, I'll provide some of the links to some of these things.
In the mean time, because of how my energies have been split, it means that less progress happens on this side of the stick. Now, right at the moment, there are some rather large updates for PixiMyst in its near future. But those updates take quite a while to prepare - and I fear I've fallen back into my old habit of telling everyone "something really great is coming" and then not updating for CENTURIES. For that I think I owe y'all a really big apology (in hopes that y'all won't come and trample me)! >^^;<
March is a new month though. And while PixiMyst has had a rough start to the year (not to mention missing its 5th Anniversary), the immediate forcast is looking... well, better than the first two months of 2009! Rest assured that PixiMyst still has a lot of life left in it. And actually, while I'm on the subject, here is what I'm going to do:
In the interest of keeping PixiMyst updates alive for everyone (by the way -- I really do appreciate your ongoing patince, darlings), I'll try and update with smaller things more often rather than pushing larger updates farther and few inbetween. Besides, I'm in dire need to slip back into the game of "catch-up" ;)
M'kay? Sound good? >^.^< Again, I really am very sorry for making everyone wait so long for me to get the ball rolling again! I <3 you all dearly!
*And am quite impressed if you read all the way through my long-winded explanation, kudos to you!*
*Chuckles* Now it's off to PSP land with me!
